Yesterday went way too well. *huge huge smile*
And the dishes the man feasted on were grilled chicken chop with black pepper sauce, popiah goreng, fruit cocktails and agar-agar "gudil". And yes, all prepared by me, with the help of hadi, who grilled the chiken, and along who can only help to roll the popiah.
And the bakal mummy-in-law, gave us macaroni goreng and popiah. Nothing surprising though. Cause it has been too often that me and she happened to cook the same dish for the day.
He came over around 6.30ish, after work, all dressed up, and he was wearing white. Looking yummy as usual. hur hur. After delicious dinner, ayah invited Love to join us for terawih session at home. Love, said YES. Uhuh, he did. And so we had our maghrib and isyak prayers followed by terawih till 9pm.
And yes, i managed to catch him in action.

Ayah at the front, Love is between Abang ahmad(left) and Hadi(right). The one in brown jubah is Haikal.
I absolutely love this photo. The serenity i feel everytime i see this picture. Him, concentrating in his prayers, and its amazing how he fits perfectly in this picture. My family picture. Two years ago, i remembered i told someone that i couldnt imagine any guy i know whom i can be with and fits perfectly in my family. It was true until i met Love. Then on i understand what it means to know of someone whom I can imagine having my future with. And yes, future doesnt mean just both of us, but it also means our family too.
The night before, me and Love got into an arguement. Funnily, that happens everytime he is coming over to my place. But im thankful that we didnt stretched it unnecessarily. And i know i am sensitive, especially if it has something to do with my loved ones. Yeah, even Love wasn't spared of my wrath.
And he ended the conversation with this,
"Im thankful that your parents are not like ****. Where the father went to his own room everytime my friend came over her house.
Im thankful that your parents are not like *****, where the mother wears the pants in the family, and i think i have problems with that.
Im thankful that your parents are just the way they are. And im thankful to them that they raised you well. "
And that should be the way isnt it? The man be thankful of the lady's parents who raised them to become the woman she is, the woman that he wants to marry and grow old with, the woman that he knows worthy to be his wife and the mother of his children.
Yes, that is one of the things, that man should be thankful for.
