Another day well spent.
Despite of waking up late (well we did wake up early, but slept again after that), which was around 12.30, we managed to go to the gym for our MUST do weekend burn-the-fats session (usually because of the guilty heavy dinner we had the night before), squeezed in whitey car wash session (complete with waxing and that left us half dead), soccer for the Man, followed by wedding dinner at Orchid Country Club.
Ok, since im a foodie, let me comment on the food.
We were served cold dishes, and it was like "Chinese style". There's shark fin soup, char kuay with sotong paste, chicken cooked with tons of soya sauce, mushroom and brocolli in horfun kuah(that was what it taste like to me), funny appetisers (thank god theres samosa and popiah). sweet and sour fish (but the taste was too bland and the fish is hanyi), nasi goreng kampong style and dessert(which we dont know what it was, since me and Love left by then, as it was going 11pm).
The food wasnt fantastic. Seriously, the kedai kopi food tasted way better. The only dish i like was the nasi goreng, and guess what, it was served second last. And it was awkward for all of us Malays to just eat, most of the dishes alone ie without rice. They should have given us free flow of rice so that we can eat it with the other dishes (be it fish/chicken/mushroom).
Overall i still prefer the normal malay wedding food. Coz its the food WE normally eat after all. Ambience wise was nice, but it doesnt take any person that long to notice, there's no wedding decoration (ie dais and the things that come together with it). So it was grand, because of the name. hmm.
But i must say, it was different from the other Malay weddings i attended.
:)
Aniways, Love and me managed to take photos down there. Even though we were damn hungry( since we wanted to make full worth of our 100bucks, we came with half empty stomach), we could still pose preety pictures. hehe.
Do check out the "wedding car" the bride and groom used to march into the ballroom.

Another beautiful shot (we look good together ey?)
Love once asked me how would I feel, if for example, 3-5 years down the road, i will be attending my friends' weddings, and definitely they will be having better/grand weddings compared to mine, and being a woman, i will tend to compare mine and theirs, and maybe i will feel "terkilan"... I couldnt remember what i answered. But i bet it must be some practical answers that involves new technology and creativity and being contented(bersyukur). haha.
You wanna know something else my Love?
You know why that doesnt matter at all to me?
Coz dear, at that exact day of my wedding, at that exact time, I know that I am the one and only happiest woman alive. Nobody can steal that happiest moment of mine.
*smilez*
Dont worry too much k my Love
